Getting there
The conference will be held on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts which is approximately six miles from Boston's Logan airport and two to three miles from Amtrak train stops at North and South Station. The conference location is within walking distance of public transit via the Kendall/MIT and Central subway stops on the MBTA Red Line or the Number 1 bus. If arriving via cab or ride share, provide the Stratton Student Center address of 84 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge.
Although centrally located off of major highways, driving to the conference location is not recommended. The cost of public parking is approximately $40.00 per day. If you choose to drive, allow extra time for city traffic, locating parking, and walking to the venue. Information on the closest parking lots will be provided in your registration confirmation.
Hotel Accommodations
Spring is high season in the Cambridge/Boston area, and hotels fill quickly. Early arrangements are highly recommended. A limited number of rooms at a discounted conference rate have been arranged at the Boston Marriott Cambridge, 50 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02142. The rate is $299 per night, plus applicable taxes. Rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis, and the booking deadline is June 7, 2022. Online booking is available here, or if you prefer, call 1-800-228-9290 and reference the MIT IEPC 22 room block. Registrants are responsible for booking their own accommodations.
There will be a limited number of non-air-conditioned rooms with shared bathroom available in the MIT Residence Halls. Information on campus reservations will be available very soon.
